Loecot, Gorran Haven

A two storey new build to be built in a conservation area next to a listed property. An interesting stepped floor all under a traditional roof with views over the sea to the south.

What We Did

Frederick Mackintosh has been appointed lead contractor for the build.  We undertook to install two sewage treatment plants and bespoke soakaways; one for the old house next door and another for the new build. Working through a very wet November, we cleared the ground and prepared for the footings and then, in a snowy and frozen new year, we excavated the footings, installed drainage and radon systems, Nudura rising walls and laid the slab.

The house phase will begin once the client has the finances however we remain contracted to hand over the keys of a finished house some time in 2019.
